In communities Alambi and Alaspungo can see a wide variety of native flowers such as fuchsias (fucsias) Cloud Forest (bosque nublado), huicundos, Bomar (bomareas), Passiflora, small shoes (zapatitos) and unique orchids (orquideas).
Apart from the beauty and flavor that give these plants are also used as alternative medicine because they help to cure various illnesses like colds, shock, stomach aches, urinary tract infections, fear, among others. Several species have more spiritual significance as the glove, typical mountain plant that is planted at the entrance of houses to ward off bad energy.

In the rocky slopes of the entrance road to our communities inhabiting a significant diversity of species. Many of them are small flowers, which need to be seen through a magnifying glass to enjoy their odd shapes and colors. Most grow on tree trunks and branches, causing no damage, so they are called epiphytes. The community is creating a small orchid belonging to a member of the community, open to visitors
